Now, a new skin based on a big-time Hollywood actor is said to be coming to Fortnite, along with a new “Bim Bam Toi” emote.
“Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna, whatcha gonna do when they come for you?”
Will Smith, who’s known for his work on iconic movies like 2001’s Ali, 1997’s Men in Black, and 2006’s Pursuit of Happyness, as well as recent hits like 2019’s Aladdin and of course the Bad Boys series, is believed to be joining Fortnite’s slate of celebrity skins soon. Data miner, @Hypex, as well as @Not0fficer, claims to have found proof that the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor is coming to Fortnite along with a Bim Bam Toi emote. For those that don’t know, Bim Bam Toi is a French song by Carla. It was used as France’s entry for the Junior Eurovision song back in 2019 where it finished fifth. Despite a low placement, the song found life over the internet via TikTok later that year and has since become a staple on the video-sharing website.
Muted the rest because the song is copyrighted! pic.twitter.com/OH3XaXLscy — HYPEX (@HYPEX) August 17, 2021 Neither @HypeX and @Not0fficer provided dates for when the new Will Smith skin is coming to Fortnite. However, one thing that we are sure about is that the skin is an exact replica of Will Smith’s iconic role as Detective Mike Lowrey from the Bad Boys franchise. What is most interesting here is that there’s no clear reason why Will Smith is joining Fortnite. Perhaps this is hinting at a new Bad Boys installment? 2020’s Bad Boys for Life was one of the last big box office hits before theaters closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The movie ended up grossing $426.5 million worldwide and received positive reviews from critics. Coincidentally, Will Smith’s Deadshot character from 2016’s Suicide Squad has been making rounds lately after a scrapped photo of Deadshot and Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn sharing an intimate kiss popped up online. With that said, we might just be putting too much thought into this. Fortnite’s metaverse has obviously taken a life of its own. This could just be Epic’s way of telling everyone that it has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
