The plot of the movie was very open-ended and fans have been speculating about whether or not we will see the characters again at some point in the future. The question has been answered by Nate Moore who is VP for Marvel Studios and producer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Speaking to Comicbook.com after the red-carpet premiere of the Black Panther sequel, Moore was asked by Brandon Davis about the future of the Eternals. “As an Eternals producer, will we see them anytime soon [in] Eternals 2?” Davis asks. “I don’t want to spoil anything, but we have not seen the last of those characters,” Moore reveals during the interview. Moore, who also produced the Eternals movie, did not specifically state an Eternals sequel. Though the confirmation from someone who is a VP of Marvel Studios would give fans a lot of hope for a second Eternals movie. Nate Moore’s confirmation of the Eternals being a part of the larger MCU, it will be safe to say that the superheroes may appear in other titles. The two post-credits scenes for the Eternals were interesting as both introduced two new heroes to the MCU. The first post-credit scene revealed Harry Styles’ character Eros, aka Starfox, will be working with the Eternals. He introduced himself to the remaining members of the team as they traveled outside Earth to search for other Eternals in the universe. Eros is the Royal Prince of Titan and the brother of Thanos. Interestingly, he was already called Starfox in the movie. The name was given to him when he joined the Avengers in the comic books. It is possible that Eros and the remaining Eternals will search the galaxy for more members to help Earth’s mightiest heroes during the war with Kang the Conqueror. Having an army of Eternals working with the Avengers could turn the tide of the war. The other post-credits scene in the Eternals revealed that Dane Whitman is Black Knight. The voice of the Ebony Blade which was passed on to Whitman is none other than Mahershal Ali who plays the vampire Blade in the MCU. The Ebony Blade has the power to behead celestials such as Tiamut. With the Blade movie being delayed and reworked, the Eternals may also make an appearance there. Black Knight has fought against vampires in the comic books. Simply having confirmation from a top executive of Marvel should be enough for fans at this point. The MCU is big and there will be a lot of opportunities for the Eternals to take part in it.
