Given how interesting Kojima’s ideas almost always are, you can’t blame fans for expressing interest in his projects - even the ones he’d already shelved. For example, Kojima just revealed on Twitter that he previously considered working on a game starring Mads Mikkelsen with a story that revolved around a “special detective squad facing off against legendary heroes behind the scenes.” Unfortunately, Kojima had to cancel the concept because he felt that it was so similar to The Boys.

Some are suggesting that the Xbox project is Overdose, an unannounced horror game that is also reportedly in the works over at Kojima Productions. Norman Reedus also let it slip that Death Stranding 2 is in production.
