All that we know is that Frontiers of Pandora is expected to release in 2022. Considering that the Avatar movie sequel was pushed back to December 22, 2022, from its original December 2021 premiere date, Frontiers of Pandora might also release around the same time.

What’s the Gameplay of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Like?
The first-ever reveal trailer of Frontiers of Pandora was light on gameplay details. However, if you pay enough attention to it, there are some tidbits of potential gameplay information that you can take away from it. For one, certain parts of the trailer were played in a first-person perspective. This suggests that the game could either be an FPS title like Far Cry or it could also have multiple gameplay perspectives. We also saw a glimpse of mounted combat or, at the very least, an option to ride a mount to travel around Pandora as we see a Na’vi native riding on top of the planet’s version of what looks like a horse. Speaking of horses, Frontiers of Pandora looks like it’s going to introduce a mix of creatures that we’ve seen in the film, as well as new ones. Other important details from the trailer include a central hub of sorts that hints at online play and possible customization options. One thing that is made clear from the Frontiers of Pandora trailer is that the Na’vi will be taking on the RDA. Similar to the film, it looks like the RDA will stop at nothing to destroy Na’vi’s homeworld and lay claim to it. The trailer showcases RDA’s full-on assault using helicopters with the Na’vi fighting back in their own relatively primitive but equally dangerous ways.
